With 40 years of experience, Werner Patels has seen and done it all. They convert the records to MP3, WAV, etc. files and send them to Werner, and he restores and remasters them, ensuring an enjoyable listening experience without pops, crackles and other blemishes. About
Languages have always played a major role in Werner's life. English and German were his first languages, and later he learned French, Latin, Greek (modern & ancient), Spanish, Japanese, etc.He started working as a freelance translator in 1987 and completed a Master's degree in translation, conference interpreting, and political science in 1997. Werner also has a Cambridge University teaching certificate (he taught languages in Toronto for several years, for example). In addition, he spent some time in TV news, writing for TV, and working as a political pundit on national TV in Canada for a while.
